1. Purpose and scope
This policy sets out how our digital, web, hosting, infrastructure, software, marketing and technology services may and may not be used. It applies alongside our Terms of Service and any engagement agreement.
2. General principles
You must use our services lawfully, responsibly and in a way that does not harm others, compromise security, or disrupt the availability or integrity of any system. You are responsible for activity carried out through the services and accounts under your control.
3. Prohibited activities
You may not use our services, systems or infrastructure for any of the following:
- Any illegal activity, or activity that facilitates illegal conduct

- Creating, hosting or distributing malware, viruses or other malicious code
- Unauthorised access to, or attempts to access, any system, account or data
- Abuse of systems or infrastructure, including excessive load, resource abuse or circumventing limits
- Phishing or harvesting credentials or personal information by deception
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk communications
- Copyright infringement or violation of the intellectual property rights of others
- Distributing harmful, malicious, defamatory or unlawful content
- Abuse of hosting or digital services, including hosting prohibited or high-risk content
- Any activity that compromises the security, availability or integrity of systems or data
4. Security and integrity of systems
You must not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system without authorisation, interfere with service to any user or network, or take any action intended to bypass authentication, monitoring or security controls.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping credentials secure, using services in line with applicable law and this policy, and ensuring that anyone you allow to use the services does the same. You must promptly report any suspected security incident or misuse to us.
6. Monitoring and investigation
We do not routinely monitor content, but we reserve the right to investigate suspected breaches of this policy, and to cooperate with law-enforcement and regulatory authorities where lawfully required.
7. Enforcement
Where appropriate and to the extent legally permissible, we may remove offending content, and suspend or terminate affected services or accounts — with notice where reasonable, or immediately where necessary to protect systems, users or third parties. Enforcement action does not limit any other remedy available to us in law or under an agreement.
8. Reporting abuse
Suspected abuse, security incidents or breaches of this policy may be reported to enquiries@udsystems.co.za. We take reports seriously and will respond appropriately.
This document should be read together with our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy & POPIA. Where a signed engagement agreement exists between you and us, that agreement takes precedence over the general terms published on this website.
